A little mouse told me that I need to continue my tradition of blogging everyday of December... my own online December Daily "album." December is a little too crazy to actually get a scrapbook done but this is a good way to remind myself to enjoy the little moments and remember Who the season is all about. Today we had our first real snowfall... "thunder snow" with thunder and lightning and all! It's so beautiful when it coats the branches and trees and streets (before it's dirty snow!)
Tomorrow I leave for Texas where it's going to be nice and warm... I think it's my last trip for the year. This month I have a house to continue to get back in shape from the kitchen remodel, decorations to put up for Christmas, all the shopping to do, classes to design for the new year, be a nurse to a son who is having his wisdom teeth out next week, and get ready to enjoy our kids who come home for Christmas break from the Army. I'm overwhelmed, but determined to take one day at a time and be thankful.
WOW...you are going to have so much to be thankful for after you've managed to get through December! We will be praying for Jeremy. And for you and your schedule...no delays, etc. Wish we could be with you for Christmas! Love...

My son had his wisdom teeth out this summer. Pudding, lots and lots of pudding.

Yeah, Shereen, pudding is good. Too much of the same will make the whole experience pretty dull, so a bit of variety is good. Soup, porridge, anything that doesn't need chewing works. The important thing is to rest and take it easy after the wisdom tooth removal.
