One of my favorite memory projects ever are the little books that I made recently using the Positivity Passport journal from Everyday Explorers.Co. Life has been so different this year, and with so many weeks and months at home, having these daily photos in a simple journal has helped me look for beauty and joy in little things and helped the days not just disappear in a blur. My hope is that this class will inspire you to look at life a little differently and teach you to use your photos in new ways and get them printed.
I have had many questions about how I make the photo collages and other parts of my books, so I'm offering this technology-based class on how to do it step by step yourself! Some of the subjects covered in the class will be...
- how to make photo collages in the app, PicFrame, available for Apple IOS and Android devices ($.99 purchase) to use in your Little Book and other projects. (What ratios to use, how to resize and zoom, what frames work best, etc.)
- how to add word art text to a photo using the app, Typorama, available only for Apple IOS systems.
- how to journal on a photograph using MarkUp for Apple IOS and Google photos (this tool is already on your phone with your photos.)
- how to take screenshots and add text to them.
- how to use the app, Weathershot, to add your location and weather to a photo, available for Apple IOS and Android devices.
- how to print the photos with the Epson Picturemate PM400 or send to a photo printing service.
- ideas of what to include in your Little Book or any book like this.
- how doing a book like this can change your perspective on life
- how to complete the cover of the book.
More information is available on the class website HERE: Little Books Class. This class will be taught on December 5 and 6 and January 9 and 10. You can take the class with a class kit or without. A wealth of information will be shared in class about using your photos in creative ways.
