I don't know for sure, but I've been told that the popularity of scrapbooking in Israel is largely owed to one very hard-working person, Netanella. I got to witness first hand the results of her work and how she mentors and inspires other entrepreneurs to work hard and follow their dreams. You would all love her shop! It is amazing!
This is her own line of punches...
You can see the racks of paper in the background of the next photo - she designs and produces her own papers. In just a couple weeks she has ten new collections debuting!
Netanella's shop is in a professional office and restaurant complex that is lovely. The open space between the buildings is perfect for relaxing and for the fairs that she holds here a few times a year. She has a fair coming up soon with 150 vendors and a few hundred thousand shoppers.
We ate a few times at the River restaurant in this photo - they had the best sushi I have ever had! So fresh and delicious!
We had great coffee at this cafe in the complex...
These Israeli girls know how to eat! I like that they have dessert too! :) One day between classes we ventured across the street for another delicious meal (and dessert!) Thank you Ilona, Keren, and Lee for a fabulous lunch!
I had the tiramisu - yum!
Just one great example of hard work and the entreprenuerial spirit is Lee, who will soon be opening a patisserie in the complex where Netanella's store is. She specializes in macarons and other beautiful desserts. Don't you just love the name?!
I think this last photo pretty well sums it up - there is a lot of love here! Love and care for others, for beautiful things, and great quality products, for hard work, for encouragement - it's a very special place!
