When I was teaching in Paris early in April, a couple of my students brought the finished books that they made with me in the past. I love to see what people have done! My students have heard me say over and over that the best compliment they can give me is to USE the books they've made in my classes. Every project is designed with the hope that your stories and memories will be kept there.
This gorgeous book was done by Cara Vincens - I love her style - just look how cute her Christmas album is! Click on the photos to see the details on her pages larger...
She changed out the rings that came with the kit and got huge rings so it could be nice and fat with all the pictures and lots of memories!
I wish I had pictures of all her pages - they are just darling! If you want to see more of Cara's work, you can visit her blog HERE.
Another sweet lady brought her Paris album from last year - I'm so sorry that I can't find the slip of paper with her name on it - hopefully she will read here and email me with her name! I can see her face in my mind but can't remember her name - so sorry!! EDITED to ADD her name.... Christiane Lavergne! Thank you so much for emailing me - I knew who you were and your name escaped me!! This is the cover of the book we made...
Inside she had enlarged photos of details of Paris - what a gorgeous album! My pictures don't capture how beautiful it is!
Thank you so much for sharing these with me! I can't wait to see what you have for me next year!
A sad update - little Ben passed away the day before yesterday. You can read his mom Mindy's blog post about it HERE - her faith is amazing. I know we all pray for comfort and strength for the days ahead. Ben isn't suffering anymore but the family left behind will miss him desperately. Thank you for praying with me.
