Happy October! I like October - I love the change of seasons, the cooler temps, and celebrating another year of life (since my birthday is later this month. :)
I'm feeling a sense of accomplishment today since all the new class information is up on my Upcoming Classes blog that you can find HERE. I'm asked over and over in emails and on Facebook how people can get a class kit if they want one - the good news is that you can get them through the stores where I teach. You can order one from a store where I'll be teaching the class, and it will be sent to you after I teach it at that store. I don't sell the kits myself - I don't want to be the stores' competition. I once had an email from someone who told me that I would be way more popular if I would sell my class kits myself. It made me stop and think - what it comes down to is - am I in the kit business or the teaching business? I am a teacher (who likes to have good kits!) not a kit club owner. I'm only one person and can't do a kit business and travel and teach as I do. Maybe someday I'll find a way to do both, but for now, I have to know what I'm meant to do and do it the best I can!
Since I'm not able to send class samples to all the stores where I teach, I thought I'd include more pictures of the insides of the books we'll be making in class, so everyone can get a better idea of what they look like. I always design my classes to be books that I'm going to use and so you know I love them! :)
Each one has a huge variety of product and techniques! I hope I'll see you at one of my upcoming classes later this fall and winter!
