I have always felt like I was an inadequate writer - I read the beautiful, expressive words of great writers and long to express myself that way, too. The words that come easiest to me are things like cool, cute, beautiful, "I love..." - but especially this morning, I'm finding those kind of words totally inadequate to express how grateful and loved on I am feeling today.
Last night I got to my hotel room after a long day of travel to find this darling gift bag on the bed - it is one the CUTEST things I've ever seen. It was made by the amazingly talented Jackie Peters - I am in awe of her talent! You can see her work and read her blog HERE.
Inside the bag is the most adorable handmade treats - I am teary-eyed at how thoughtful and personal they are. I am certainly feeling like the most blessed person today.
These pictures don't capture the sweet little touches on her creations. The adorable little stuffed pear - how cute is that!
The stuffed house - I will cherish it forever!
The door made out of velvet ribbon and the bee at the top - I love every detail!
Not only was I loved on with these sweet gifts but had this lovely plate and cup and yummy looking scone to savor and beautiful magazines to read and flowers to make it all personal.
I know Cindy, the owner of Paper Crown where I'm teaching today and tomorrow, was in on this - she is so thoughtful! I can't wait to see the store and meet all the ladies - I know it's going to be amazing! I'll take lots of photos, for sure!
