Today is a VERY special day - the day that we celebrate our son Brandon's 24th birthday! I wish we could be with him today but we'll see him soon when I'm in Virginia for a weekend of classes at Scrapdoodles the weekend of August 16. (Can't wait to see lots of friends there!)
As most of you know, he is a soldier in the Army stationed at Ft. Myer in Virginia and works as a medic in the clinic there. I'm so proud of him and what he has accomplished and for his determination to be the best and do his best at whatever task lies before him. I pray that God will bless him and give him great success in everything he does. He's a sweetheart - I couldn't love him more!
I'm not too happy about how I'm spending the day - it is root canal day. Yuck! I am a terrible dental patient. I have trouble getting numb, and I've had three root canals in the past and two of them were horrible, so I'm trying someone new who came highly recommended. Supposedly he will do it in one visit with a microscope thing - AND they are giving me something to take to make me relax. I have never taken anything like that - we'll see how loopy I am! Hopefully I won't even care where I am! Say a little prayer for me that all will go well. Thank you!!
