We are surrounded by white! - more snow than we got all last year. It's so pretty now; not too pretty once it's dirty snow! Brandon and I went to Starbucks for our last visit before he leaves later today and compared apps and games on our iPads. As we sat in our comfy chairs, we were gradually surrounded by a group of men (I think we must have been in their usual spots.) It was pretty funny to listen to them talk (Ida Lupino and other old time movie actresses, wondering what these big things were that we were playing on, and other topics of conversation.) I was touched when one of the men stopped Brandon on our way out and told him to read his Bible every day and that he would pray for him. Not a random encounter, I believe! :)
They like to drive at night when there is less traffic but I was concerned about them driving in these weather conditions at night. Thankfully we got a text this morning about 5am that they had arrived safely.
I love having them home and just as much hate saying goodbye! Sniff!
(Don't forget to check out the auction for Samaritan's Purse for Hurricane Sandy relief - I'm hoping we'll give a really nice size donation to them! The ebay listing of the My NYC Holiday album kit is HERE.)

Glad to hear they got home all right. The snow is pretty but sure glad I don't have to drive in it anymore.
