The day after Christmas is always a bit of a relief to me - everything is done that is going to be done and it seems to be a bit of a breather before the new year begins. I love hearing my kids rattling around downstairs for a few days and spending time together. We were brave and went to the mall to do a couple returns and have lunch at Bravo and stop at Starbucks, of course. The snow started in the evening and Brandon and Alicia were cozy with their new iPads.
We are entertaining ourselves with our cats too - our cat, Mr. Kitty, is older and "wiser" and is pretty much tolerating their cat Bella who is still really a playful kitty and just can't resist causing trouble! They are pretty funny to watch (until it turns nasty and we have to separate them.)
They both took their positions on the coffee table and Bella would reach her paw up just enough for Mr. Kitty to see.
I think Mr. Kitty has just about had enough of these shenanigans!
Mr. Kitty might be bigger but he doesn't have front claws like Bella does, so she can hold her own too. We could show episodes of kitty boxing on YouTube!
Gifts so far today ~
the blessing of being able to stay at home and not have to go out in this snow
feeling a little better today
coffee
Sally's almond loaf
Have a gift-filled day!
The cats are funny. You ought to do a video and put it on YouTube like you said. It would go viral.
