Saturday was another cold day so we took Dave to the Country Pancake House in Lakewood Ranch where they have the biggest portions ever! Everyone walks out with take-out containers! A quick stop at the Bargain Barn again and a surprise spotting of Santa along the road. I love the reindeer attached to the front of the car.
Then Dave and I headed out to the beach for a walk from Bean Point to the Sandbar. We bundled up - and were glad that we did! What a gorgeous afternoon!
That evening we opened gifts with my parents and had lots of laughs over the crazy (but good!) things that they found for us.
How do you like my bee socks? :) And Dave's shirt is a t-shirt with a jacket, shirt and sweater all layered and printed on it. So funny! The tree evens add to the fun - the lights are gradually burning out so that all that's left is the top, a row around the middle, and a row at the bottom. It could be dark by New Years!

Well, I know stripes are in, but....really, Debby, not like that!!! And Dave could set a new trend...love it! (Remember when I said I had the best GW find yet? That's what I was talking about!) We sure had lots of laughs.
Also a warning...don't trust "pre-lit" trees...they will surprise you!
