Still catching up... after arriving home at the hotel at 3:30am, we were happy to sleep in and have a relaxing day before the Very Merry Mickey Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom that evening. We wanted to see the decorations at each of the large resorts on the monorail plus the Wilderness Lodge. We drove to the Lodge and parked there first.
Then we parked at the Polynesian Resort and went on to the Grand Floridian - just gorgeous!
We took the monorail to the Contemporary and had lunch.
At 4pm we could enter the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Christmas party - the workers are dressed in their holiday clothes and the park is even more magical than usual with all the decorations!
Yeah for the free hot chocolate and cookies!
We watched the Christmas show and the parade and the fireworks... it was really fun and we would definitely do it again!
Our favorite part of the show was the many looks that they gave to Cinderella's Castle...
The snow on Main Street made it even more special!
We ended the night at the dance party with Goofy and Pluto and Chip and Dale at Cosmic Rays.
It was a gift-filled day! Hope your's is too!
Wow! They really go all out and all those different takes on the castle. Looks like a great day.
