This isn't a proper blog post... just a quick update from the airport as I sadly leave South Africa and head toward home... but not right home just now! I'm making a little detour for a couple days in London and one day in Paris. I figured that since the plane stopped in London, I might as well get off and spend a couple days. I'll arrive in London tomorrow morning, hop on the Heathrow Express to my hotel and do some exploring. Then on Wednesday, I'm taking the Eurostar train to Paris for the day and then back to London for a day and a half! I'm actually really excited about being there by myself! To just wander and explore and go where I want to... for just a short time, sounds heavenly! If I want to spend hours in Cath Kidston, I can!!
I've been updating throughout my time in South Africa on Facebook and posting a few pictures. I'll be sharing lots more here when I get home and not paying dearly for internet access. It was an amazing trip! My mind and my heart are overflowing with stunning vistas and the beautiful people there. I'll also be doing a post to thank all those who made this teaching trip possible. I am so grateful!!
I'll just leave you with a couple pictures from our safari and the Cape of Good Hope (I have about 1500 more!)

Looking forward to a full trip report when you get home. Have a great time in London and Paris. Stay safe.

You are one lucky girl, Debby! That sounds like a trip of a lifetime and I'm so glad you are able to truly appreciate every moment! Travel safely home and share the rest of your photos with us, because I, for one, can't wait to see them!

At least Cape Town gave you some beautiful weather! Was lovely to meet you with Lynn at lunch yesterday, yes I am the apron lady... Wow some time to yourself in those wonderful cities will be exquisite! I wouldn't know where to start, hope you have a clear plan of action, I know I would waste precious time without one!
