I'm thrilled to get this picture of Brandon, taken in the middle of the night last night in Bangor, Maine. I think it is so cool that there are so many thoughtful, kind people in the world who take these pictures. They photograph just about every soldier that passes through the airport on their way overseas and then post them for the families. It means more than I can say. So thankful that these volunteers are there to shake their hands for us.
He called about 1am from there for one last "I love you." Hope we hear from him soon (although I've been told that it can take awhile.)
I'm a proud mama! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for all your good wishes, prayers, and love!!!

So neat! So many wonderful people out there appreciating what our loved ones are doing. I hope they take Alicia's picture too.

I'm so overwhelmed by your photos and comments on Brandon's deployment. Reading your last few posts has brought what families go through before a son or daughter deploys so much sharper into focus. The comments about the "hug lady" and the people who take and send pictures from Maine back to their families really tugs on your heart. Please keep us informed on how Brandon and Alicia are doing and let me know if there is anything I can do for you or them as they begin this important journey. All the best, Donna

You are on my mind... in my heart and in my prayers. I'll be thinking of Brandon and Alicia the next few pennies I find. Trust Him. (See you this week-end at Novel Approach!)
