Now that I'm finally home for a couple days, I can take pictures of the things that I bought in London to commemorate Will and Kate's wedding and share the pictures from our wedding party. Hey... I'm a fan!!!
Helle, Michelle, and I (and Diane who is camera shy and the daughters) stayed up all night to take in every minute of the celebration! Michelle had a proper British spread for us... so good!
Do you think I'm the only person who took pictures of the TV screen?
LOVE this overhead shot!
I'll be able to drink my tea in style in one of the three wedding mugs that I bought...
I love that the coach is trailed by teapots!
A t-shirt and tea towel...
How about some soaps and a Christmas ornament...
and last but not least, some postcards and a "throne up" bag. Just had to get it!
I bought an extra Cath Kidston commemorative wedding tea towel to send to one of you lucky blog readers. Just leave a comment on this post and I'll draw a name next Monday (5/9) at noon EST. Don't be shy! What was your favorite moment of the event?

Pick me! Pick me! PAAAAA-LEESSEE!!!!

That would have to be when she got out of the car, love the dress surprise!

Well I'll not be shy. I may not have been in the same room, but was right there with you. I set my alarm, but was awake an hour early for fear I would miss something! ;) Then had to do some desperate channel surfing to try to find the best picture with the least amount of interference... (talking during the processional and ceremony... shame!) My favorite part, goodness there were so many, probably the second kiss, because really the first was disappointing, the second so much better. I think they're a great couple and the whole event was beautiful. Oh, and I liked seeing the brothers together as well. Reminded me a bit of my sons.

I think when Will and Kate came out of the church she looked so regal and beautiful. Just like a queen. And when she entered the carriage and said I'm so happy was just perfect. That's my favorite. The entire wedding was beautiful.

What fun you had!!! I managed to pull an all nighter to watch it live on TV. LOVE all the goodies you brought back and that tea towel is adorable!

So fun!! We had a "Royal Rehearsal Dinner" on Thursday night for my 9 yr old daughter and 4 of her friends!! Complete with dinner and "walking down the aisle" with the bouquets they made ~ so I could take pics!!! During the wedding, my fave part was him talking to her when she got to the alter. Soooo sweet!
Posted by: Holly D | May 06, 2011 at 08:37 PM
i loved when Harry turned to look back at Kate as she was walking down the aisle and then whispered to William. At the end of the day, they were brothers sharing a special moment of their life.

I agree with Toni - I too loved the moment when Harry took a peek at this new sister-in-law coming down the aisle - Perfect moment - Perfect Day - Priceless!!

Everything about it was so sweet - I just loved it! I think my favorite part was when Kate came out on the balcony and looked genuinely shocked at the crowd and just mouthed, "Wow." So cute!!
I'm, of course, super jealous of all your goodies and the fact that you got to go to Cath Kidston - MY FAVORITE! Thanks for sharing!

ohmygosh you CRACK me up!!!

Oh my! What lovely things you brought back, I love Cath Kidston! I loved the entire eeding, but when Kate first stepped out of the car I admit I teared up!
Posted by: Yvonne | May 06, 2011 at 09:11 PM
I'm a fan as well. I even made a scrapbook layout (with images found online, didn't think to take any of the TV)
It's hard to decide the top two moments for me
1. when he told her she looked beautiful when she arrived at the alter
2. when they held hand as the carriage passed under the arch on the way back to the palace
Posted by: mrsgeek | May 06, 2011 at 09:34 PM
I liked when they were on the balcony right after the ceremony and they kissed for the crowd and then kissed AGAIN. The crowd went wild...and I got teary. Sigh.

My favorite moment(s) were when she stepped out on the balcony and the first thing she said was, "oh wow". It's like she couldn't even believe it herself, all those people there to see her and wish her well. And I loved the spontaneous joy ride in the Aston Martin with the balloons and streamers tied to the back of the car, just like any normal couple. It was so nice to have something joyous to look forward to in the midst of all the turmoil going on in our world at this moment.

pick meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!! I was like a kid back in my princess time !!! I loved every moment, particularly in the abbey, it was so beautiful, with choirs, the beautiful dresses and the vows....cheers !!!

I loved when Harry took a look at Kate and shared the view with William, he must have been so impatient !
Then when William finally saw Kate and what a look he had !!! I think he told her how beautiful she was, and that was priceless !
Posted by: Cecile | May 07, 2011 at 12:55 AM
the wedding was so lovely....sigh. we had a little viewing party too and it was so much fun. tea, fresh scones and a bag of doritos with bison dip to add some american refinery :) all your goodies are adorable and i would love to win the tea towel! enjoy today.

One of my favorite moments was when Kate arrived at the altar, standing with her dad and William. One tv commentator said William mouthed to his father-in-law, "I thought we were just having a small family affair." So cute. I watched all night too - glad you had a lovely time viewing with Diane and Michelle.
Posted by: Susan | May 07, 2011 at 05:47 AM
My favorite moment was when Harry turned around to see her. Seemed like so in line with his personality. What fun you all had.

There were so many favourite moments: When Kate emerged from the car, when the commentator said millions of people saw the dress before Wills, when she walked down the aisle, when Harry turned around and then whispered to his brother, when Wills whispered to his father-in-law, when Kate curtsied to the Queen, when they emerged from the church, when they came out onto the balcony.... ahhhh, too many to choose from! It was a wonderful event for England, all Commonwealth countries and the world. AND, lucky us - Will and Kate will be attending the Calgary Stampede and will most likely be the parade marshals in just a few short weeks. We'll be able to see them in person!

Loved the little bridesmaid with her hands over her ears while her cousins had their first "kiss".
Posted by: Lina F. | May 07, 2011 at 08:17 AM
I loved it all as all of us did. But I think when they stepped onto the balcony and you could read her lips saying WOW! Loved Loved Loved it! What a wonderful memory we all have from the events leading up to the Royal Wedding and then the actual Wedding. Thanks for sharing your pictures ...........

My friend and I hosted a tea party to watch the wedding with our fellow "princess" friends. We had scones, raspberry jam and lemon curd, cucumber sandwiches, watercress sandwiches, smoked salmon, petite fours, eclairs, shortbread cookies, cherry tarts and a miniature wedding cake. We even had little party favors for our guests.
I have 2 favorite moments from the wedding . . .when Kate stepped out of the car and paused in front of the church and when she got to the altar and William looked at her and whispered "you're beautiful"!
(p.s. I love, love, love Cath Kidston)!!!!

My favorite moment was when Prince William drove out in the sports car. I thought that was awesome. I'm craving Lemon Curd now. Thanks for the chance to win. Love those mugs. So pretty.

I liked them coming out onto the balcony and Kate saying wow!
See you soon...driving back from LA to see you...maybe not for the first class but at least the second.

It was all great for me! Enjoyed the reruns with commentary, especially. So much was going on, and there was certainly lots of "pomp" in that circumstance!

Hi Debby,
What fun souvenirs you had bought! My favorite moment was when he told her she looked beautiful when she arrived at the altar.
Thanks for the giveaway and have a great weekend!

What a fun give away -Thank you!! and Happy Mother´s Day to you!
It was a wonderful wedding...watched at 4am here with my sister, cousin and stepmother...and yes, my sister took pictures of the TV as we watched BBC...fine coverage! Have seen several reruns but am looking forward to my official BBC video arriving on May 27...LOL! What a fun thing to watch while scrapping...and did you not love the music?!
Favorite moments...Wills and Harry getting out of the car at the church (as the mother of sons I appreciated that - and I am sure you also did as the mother of sons, one soon to be deployed!), the little bridesmaids and pageboys so adorable as they started off down the aisle (a 4 minute walk according to the bbc), Kate when her dad lifted off her veil, their obvious delight as they walked back up the aisle, the carriage ride back to the palace and the whole family on the balcony, because in the end, it really is all about family....

I loved how relaxed and happy Kate looked and her beautiful dress. My romantic son watched even more of the wedding than I did. :)

I loved when they got to the doorway of the church after the wedding and they just stood there and her gown was shimmering a little. I started to cry...

It was very exciting to watch but it brought floods of memories of watching Dianna and Charles. I was sooooo young back then and so at a different season of life.

I missed the "live" coverage but saw it later in the day. My favorite part was when the two of them drove the car around the circle at Buckingham Palace. Her dress was beautiful and very tasteful. I wasn't a big fan of Princess Di's dress. Can't wait to see you in Houston at the end of June.

You are so lucky to have been there. I envy you!
Posted by: Cathy S | May 08, 2011 at 08:43 AM
I think my favorite part was when Harry stole a look at Kate in her dress and then reported back to William...love your collection of teacups too! Hope to see you next weekend.

My husband was on travel and woke me with a text message early in the morning so I could get up and watch the festivities! I loved the moment William leaned over and told Kate, "you look beautiful"! What every bride wants to hear! and the music was so special as well!

I loved it when Harry looked back when Kate was walking down the aisle and when William said to Kate that she looked beautiful. You can really tell those kids are in love!

I loved the music...and I loved when William told Kate she looked beautiful.

Loved the wedding and my favorite moments were their interactions with each other in the carriage. You could see they are best friends as well as very much in love. Wish I had been there! And can't wait for your classes in July at Creative Cuts and Crafts! Cheerio!

I loved everything especially when they were on the balcony during there first kiss and the little girl looked like she was so bored. It will be funny when she looks back and see's that photo.
Other then that the wedding was stunning and Pippa looked amazing too.

Okay Debbie, I would love to win the towel, I was up early in Freeport Bahamas as we flew out at 7.5, back to mia, then on with rest of 4 day trip. My daughter had a princess themed wedding 8 years ago, but alas it was a frog, however we did get the most beautiful GD from it. She is now our princess, she watched the wedding in her first grade class and loved it! Would love the tea towel for her hope chest. Someday when your daughter in law has babies you'll know how I feel! Take care, ringing off! Elsa

What a sweet giveaway. One to be cherished by the lucky winner. Thank you for thinking of your blog readers! My favorite part of the wedding was when Harry turned around to take a peek. Loved it!
Posted by: SuZeQ | May 08, 2011 at 07:33 PM
I, too, loved the moment when Prince Harry turned to look and then whisper to William, I also liked Pippa taking the hands of the two youngest bridesmaids and walking them down the aisle, but one of the coolest moments was when they were on the balcony and the planes did a fly-by as they watched, while the announcers said that even as a young boy, William always wanted to be a pilot. sigh, happy dreams realized.....

My sister is a HUGE Cath Kidston fan and loves all things royal wedding. I would be the best sister EVER! if I won this and could give it to her as a gift.
And the wedding was beatiful.
Good luck to everyone!

My favorite moment was when they were walking out on the balcony and you could see Kate mouth the words "oh wow" when she saw the crowd. How humble!

I just love everything. Especially the 2 kisses!!

Happy Mother's Day to you, Debby. I was so glad I was able to spend the day with my son and my mom. On to the wedding ..... I thought the whole thing was magical. I can't pick a favorite - could it be Harry turning around as Kate made her way down the aisle, could it be when Kate got out of the car & Pippa assisted her with the dress, could it be when they walked down the aisle together? I was completely swept up in the moments. Love how you and your friends celebrated. Have a great week. Donna O
