I have spent four days in heaven... actually at my parent's house in Florida where we went to the beach every day, went to a couple Goodwills, and ate at my favorite places. It was the perfect getaway and I totally relaxed and enjoyed it!
I think there must be a beach that looks like this in heaven!

I love walking in the water along the shore just before sunset. The water is calm and the light reflects the shells buried in the sand in the water. As I was walking along last night, I saw a piece of a shell peeking out of the sand. I went to pick up the piece and it just kept coming and coming... until I pulled out the most gorgeous whole shell! What a find!! It's about 8" long and in perfect condition. I called it and "I love you gift" from God.
I also found some treasures at the Goodwill Bargain center (where the things that don't sell at other Goodwills are sent for final clearance.) I can't believe these darling Christmas figurines managed to stay intact and together as a group through the bins they are thrown in! I paid 25 cents each. Love it!!
I'm in Houston now... on my way to Waco and then to Ft. Hood where we'll spend the holiday weekend with Brandon and Alicia. Can't wait to see them... it's been since Christmas. Next week I'll be on to El Paso and then San Diego... I need to remind myself where I am when I wake up in the morning!!

How great to be able to go visit your Mom and Dad and as a side bonus have the most wonderful beach and thrifting on the east coast! :) I hope you caught up with yourself after your busy, busy schedule! xo
